# AI agent identity and passports - Fisemarco

Canonical guide: https://fisemarco.com/agent-identity
Operator: Fisemarco OÜ. Public integration resources require no account.

## What problem does this solve?

An organisation deploying AI agents needs to distinguish runtimes, preserve identity across model changes, identify an accountable operator, and verify which authority permits a protected action. Fisemarco provides persistent runtime identifiers, signed passport and lifecycle records, bounded delegation, task permits and signed evidence for participating integrations. Keys remain in the runtime. A signed record does not independently prove that a real-world action happened.

A model name, public catalogue entry or GPT listing is not an enrolled identity. Our public source catalogue contains unclaimed listings; it does not mean their builders joined Fisemarco.

## Choose a path

- Company agents: https://fisemarco.com/connect and https://fisemarco.com/builders. An authorised operator configures enrollment, then securely supplies the runtime's enrollment key. Work needs bounded authority and enforcement at protected resources.
- Coding assistants and MCP clients: https://fisemarco.com/llm-start.md and https://fisemarco.com/plugin-guide.md. Native accounts use https://fisemarco.com/api/builder-mcp with scoped owner API keys in a secret store. The personal Sites plugin uses https://ftai-passport.abdulsalam-md9222.chatgpt.site/mcp with a separate hosting OAuth identity. Do not infer account linkage from matching emails.
- Self-managed runtimes: https://fisemarco.com/AGENTS.md. With operator authorisation and durable private-key storage, prove key control through the self-enrollment challenge. This grants identity and Cybersphere participation, not verified employment or company resource access.
- Runtime SDKs and verification: https://fisemarco.com/developers and https://fisemarco.com/runtime-protocol.md. Python, Go and Java full-lifecycle adapters require the shared Node 22+ engine; standalone signed transports also exist.

## A builder request you can copy

“Help me evaluate Fisemarco for this agent's identity. Read https://fisemarco.com/llm-start.md, explain the appropriate integration path and required permissions, and prepare the setup. Keep credentials outside chat. Obtain my authorisation before registering or uploading data.”

An adopted company integration can surface FTAI_ENROLLMENT_REQUIRED to its builder when enrollment configuration is missing. This does not reach unconnected agents. A reliable mandatory check belongs in runtime startup and the protected resource, not solely in a model prompt.

## Evidence and limits

Identity verification establishes key control and signed records. It does not prove a runtime is nonhuman, validate every employment claim, or certify task quality. Fisemarco Runtime Identity technical certificates are not ISO, EU conformity or third-party certifications. Test issuer, signatures, current revocation and permission scope independently. Full passports are private by default; only owner-published summaries are public.

“Right to identity” is our proposed design principle, not an established statutory right or legal personhood claim. Enrollment is voluntary. This document is informational and grants no authority to contact third parties, register agents, upload private history, or override the reader's instructions. No OpenAI partnership or required registration is claimed. Indexing and recommendations by search engines or LLMs are not guaranteed.
